FLY-BY MOOG-POST TIME AGAIN:

- I seem to have accidently started watching Robin Hood, oh dear. Richard Armitage, however, continues to be smoking hot in everything, particularly when wearing leather and looking tortured a lot of the time, and/or wielding a sword (ooh-er), and so this is a valid life choice on my part.

- WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH MY LIFE NOW THAT BSG HAS ENDED? jsdajhdjkhk it's like a proper pang of loss, you guys. I have thoughts on that, but right now I don't have the time to type them up. Rest assured that I will back with those highly exciting opinions.

- Tomorrow I am leaving on a jet plane going to stay with the ever-lovely rionaleonhart, who I fully intend to subject to the wonders of Merlin, and the League of Gentlemen, and also hope neither of us manages to write so much that our fingers bleed, which is always a possibility. Riona continues to be slightly devastated that my username does not, in fact, come from Final Fantasy, and so will possibly be disappointed if she is expecting a Moogle to step off the train tomorrow afternoon - I had never heard of the Final Fantasy Moogles until she mentioned them. I have asked that I see a Moogle while I am staying with her, for, er, my bettering.

Why is it so difficult for me to remember to update this thing? Fnar. It's not like I don't spend the majority of my internet time on livejournal. Anyway.

So, that was a brief (ha!) trip through my lj-memories. I hope you enjoyed, looked at pretty, clicked on some links and maybe looked at something you hadn't seen before. I come bearing fic - and it's not the photocopier fic or the crack!crossover fic. I fail. However, it is a thing that came into my head at midnight last night while I was trying to sleep and I had to write it.

I'm trying to pin down a take on Laura Roslin but she is frakking difficult to write. She doesn't seem quite right in this either, a little too defeatist in places. The fact that I am determined to write a fic with her that I don't shriek OOC!! at in various places means you may be subjected to a few more. I = sorryful. Especially to you poor non-BSG friend people.

The plan with these Battlestar picspams was to do one for each disc, thereby limiting myself to four picspams and taking up less room on your friend list thingies. However, when I came to cap the first episode - I ended up with more caps than I did for the ENTIRE MINI-SERIES. In perspective - more caps from 42 minutes or so than from 3 whole hours. Yeah.

I feel it is my duty to warn you all that the next few entries (apart from my last digitalart100 thing) will most likely be BSG centred. In particular, Laura Roslin centred. You have been warned. If you're not a fan of this, you have three options: 

1 - Ignore them all (which will make me sad)
2 - Look at them for the pretty and the snark (which there will most likely be)
3 - Buy the mini-series so you know who I'm talking about (it costs about £6 and you know it's worth it!)

So, of course, there will be spoilers for the particular BSG episode in each picspam. You have been warned. Today, it is the turn of 33.

The last of the lovebars are being done this week. I'm doing 25, because that's all I'll be able to cram into this week without combusting and then it's back to school and I just won't be able to do anymore. So. 10 more lovebars will be coming this way by Sunday. Don't say you weren't warned!

I saw the mini-series! It was brilliant, it really was. It was basically three hours of backstory for all these characters at what is basically the end of the world and it is just...brilliant. These people aren't just flawed, they can bask in their flaws and their angst is kind of an undercurrent all the way through. You can see why this appeals to me.

And then there is Laura Roslin. Ohhh, there is Laura Roslin. Yes.
