Today, my mother and I did some Christmas shopping. This involved spending an hour in Toys R Us. I can now say that if I ever hear that Nutcracker music again, someone will die.

Don't worry your noncy self over the radio silence (I know you can't reply, but I felt I should tell you immediately that I was in possession of rumpled-white-shirt Gay Oldman).

I have not watched Bright Young Things yet (on the day I said I would, I got somewhat sidetracked by something and I can't remember what, but I shall do that! Probably tomorrow! - Tonight I should watch The Street, as my mother tells me there are gays and the plot looks to be lifted from Brokeback and plonked into building-class Britain.)
