Okay people, here is a 'dear god, I can't make decisions on my own' type plea (it was also going to be a poll, with ticky boxes, but lj refuses to allow it. Again). Please to be helping me!

If you had a set amount of money that was definitely for spending, what would you buy?

A big boxset thing, costing just about all of the money
B) Lots of little things (dvds, clearly) and then maybe save some

??

Hmmm.

I'd say Option A) The Boxed Set. Because with boxed sets, you very rarely have the chance to finally get it and normally you end up putting it off, and now you have the chance, so I vote you take it. Just make sure you shop around for the boxed set and try to find the absolute cheapest price possible. That way, you might get some money to spare.

*snuggles Moog* Oh, and my GW Series 1 dvds came today. :D You're my surgeon. You're my surgeon bitch.

That is brilliant advice and, incidentally, the option I was leaning towards.

GUY: Cut her up, bitch.
MAC: Gas her, fucker.
GUY: Sew it up, gimp.

I hope you cherish and enjoy, my sweet! My favourite episode is, I think, episode 7 of series 1, closely followed by episode 5.

And I have shopped around for the boxed set. The cheapest I can get it is just under £50. Never mind, I'm sure it's worth it!

[Incidentally, what is this mysterious boxed set you want? And where have you looked for it?]

I will of course cherish it. I need to decide which are my fave epsiodes. At the moment, they just all blur together into a technicolour orgy of solid gold hilarity, Sue White's fine legs (and mentalist qualities) and sexy Mac.

I am wanting this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/o/ASIN/B000H5UYOA/ref=s9_asin_title_1/026-8281750-1151616). Is that bad of me?

Mmmm, Sue White and Maaaaac. *pets them*

Bad of you? IT IS WONDERFUL OF YOU, I AM SO PROUD!! *glee*

I would lurve that too but alas, I already have 3 of them on dvd so I guess I'll just get them all separately. But if you get that boxed set and crazily decide you wasted your money, I will buy it from youuuuu.

Yup. I have a crush on Mac. I have a crush on Sue.

I am going to purchase it tonight. *big beaming gleeface*

You shall not be getting it. It is mine! It is not wasted money! *clings to it*

I told she was splendiferous and wonderful. I do have taste you know. ;P

Dude, Jane Tennison is FTW. Always has been, always will. There's kickass, and angst and ohhh Helen you so purty.

PS- It's been a while since I've seen the few I have and so I cannot really remember if I have favourites or not. Sowwy. But they are all top-notch.

Let's play: find Moog a 'type'. Strong woman? Check. Slightly angsty? Check. Prettiful, but not conventionally? Check. Intelligent? Check.

I was going to like Jane Tennison. There was no hope!

And I wasn't really dismissive and blah about Teh Mirren. I was just unaware of her brilliance! You do clearly have taste. *snuggles you*

Oh oh oh, and I wanted to ask (but forgot, because I am a freak) - which of the Prime Suspect's you have seen is your favourite?

Spoilers = bad. Vagueness = good.

HAHA SPENDING MONEYS TONIGHT.

Oh God - okay, ignore the bad, bad apostrophe. *headdesk*

Yes, I know this is my third comment. I am duly ashamed.

I was about to post a similar thing. I have a choice between a big boxset or two smaller ones. I'm still debating.

To make things worse Amazon sent me an email informing me that Suburban Shootout is apparently available on DVD.

Decisions, decisions, lol.

That did not help. I am now toooooooorn even more.

Although it does depend on how much you want the boxset over the little things, or how many little things you could get. I think. *head explodes*

I think its always a good idea to save some money, especially if your looking at saving up for something expensive, like a car or something. Of course if you already have lots of savings then go ahead with the boxset =D

From: [identity profile] moogle62.livejournal.com
But I don't waaaaaanna save. *pouts* Um. By that I mean...I don't want a car (and probably won't, for a while) but I should really be saving money for the eventuality of university.

But I want shiny things! I want to buy pretty things because I did okay in my exams!

*goes back to calculating money-type things on amazon*
