On another note, I'm thinking about making this journal semi-friends only. I mean, I lock most of the stuff I don't feel comfortable sharing with the world at large, but I'm thinking of maybe extending that to just everything that isn't either an entirely fandom-related post, or fic. Flist, what are your thoughts? Are you friends-only? What do you think of friends-only journals in general? Has semi-friends only worked for you?

1) Tell you why I friended you. I'd seen you around in a couple of fandoms and a couple of journals, and always meant to friend you because you seemed awesome - I remember seeing a History Boys spam of yours and just going abfjabfjhdbah, yes, look at Irwin's faaaaaace - and then after a while, reading your comments in lovestories's journal, I thought, this is stupid, she is AMAZE, and lo! Here we are :DD
2) Associate you with a song/film. Hmm hmm hmm. Kind of The History Boys, because of that one picspam, but in general I associate you with Robin Hood - I don't know why, because I'm not in that fandom at all and indeed have never even seen an episode (!) - SO THERE WE GO.
3) Tell a random fact about you. You live in York! Where I used to live! AWESOME.
4) Tell a first memory about you. YOU ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO DO AMAZING THINGS. LIKE FIC. AND IT IS BRILLIANT lolol Bradley James was raised by ponies.
5) Associate you with a character/pairing. Currently, I would say Effy, from Skins - despite you not being the person on my flist I immediately associate with Skins, I think about you when I'm skimming my flist and there's an Effy icon. IDEK, OKAY.
6) Ask something I've always wanted to know about you. Ooooh, this is always a dangerous question (I am secretly ridiculously nosy, oh my god, this is such a problem). Okay, after university, what then? If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? If you could learn another language overnight, what would it be? What is your favourite flavour of ice-cream? ALL OF THESE ARE RIDICULOUS THINGS TO WANT TO KNOW, BUT WHATEVS, oh dear.

Heee, Robin Hood. That show really did eat my brain for a while there; it made me do insane things like watch Vital Signs and make big picspams of Harry Lloyd's sexy creepy faces in "Family of Blood".

YAY YORK! I am going to be so upset when I have to leave. Re: which, AHAHAHA I have no real clue about ~the future~. The tentative plan right now is to go and live and work at home until the new year, and then get a year's visa for New Zealand and Australia and just go. My parents are shockingly pro-this plan of action; my dad was something of a wanderer in his misspent youth. Then, IDK, maybe qualify as a librarian or try and get into publishing? I'd love to learn Irish, because my mum's from there and the spelling intrigues me. Ben & Jerry's Half-Baked 4EVAH ♥

Where is 'home' for you? Also, WOW, I think it's amazing that you want to just go and work abroad - this is definitely on my list of things to do. I want to try living in a country where they don't speak English, just because I really love learning new languages (except French, now, which I have done for so long and am so terrified about this year's exams that most of the joy has gone). Publishing! win win win. I'd like to get into editing, I think, mainly because a) I am capable of being very petty, and picky, and re-reading things, like, ALL OF THE TIME FOREVER OH HEY I NEED TO READ THAT AGAIN.

- Om nom nom, Half Baked. WHY SO EXPENSIVE, BEN AND JERRY'S? I am sad, because I'm having to go non-dairy for a bit, to see if it makes any difference to my health, and so I just keep walking past freezer cabinets and looking longingly at the forbidden Ben and Jerry's. What the fuck is the point of a sorbet? NOTHING, is the answer.

Southport, on the NW coast, sort of just above Liverpool. IT IS FULL OF OLD PEOPLE AND SEAGULLS. I kind of want to go travelling now, rather than a few years down the line, because this is the last chance I'll really have with no other responsibilities, and I really want to do something completely by myself to prove that I can, you know? And yes, editing! PICKY IS FUN.

- Awww, I don't mind sorbet. M&S do a really nice blackcurrant one, but the B&J ones you get at the cinema are proper gloopy and not all that pleasant.
