Right, hurrah, more Being Human was in my eyes!

- Lauren is getting much less irritating to me as the series progresses. I still like her hair: it amuses me that it is basically Mitchell's, but more feminine. Vampires: failing at originality for all eternity.

- MITCHELL. I NEED A MITCHELL. Hugging Annie! Accepting George forever despite any asshattery! Trying to be a normal person! Managing to talk about Vin Diesel for hours on end! OH GODDDD, also, he is really, really, incredibly attractive to the point that it hurts my face. He's all long and lean and scrawny, and bfajbdkjafbjdbjfb, what what who said a thing.

- Annie continues to be lovely, and I sense that this will continue to be true until the end of time.

- The kiss! (Sadly not between George and Mitchell, but I have hope: if two of the main characters have kissed in episode two, then surely a Big Gay Kiss can't be far off in the next four?) I love that it was just brushed off and then laughed about, but it was still touching at the time. idk, I just love them.

-THAT OTHER WEREWOLF GUY. I wanted to smack him in the face. A lot. I won't dwell on him, because he made me angry (stop splitting up the three supernatural musketeers - smusketeers? - twat), but suffice it to say that he made me displeased, which I suspect is good writing: if I hated him that much, the screenwriters must be doing their job. Like Holly, in Green Wing, whom I loathe, and every time she comes on screen I want to throw things at her face, but the fact that she elicits such a strong reaction is proof that the writing is good enough to make me care that much about the character, you know? That scene with him and Annie, just, ugh, it made my skin crawl.

- Annie chasing after the ambulance was unexpectedly affecting.

- Ohhhh, that scene when Mitchell came home and Annie was huddled up and crying, it hurt my heart. I love them together. I love Annie and George together. I love Mitchell and Annie and George together. They are quite literally the most perfect three main cast members ever.

- The werewolf was approximately 10000000000 times less crap than last week. I kind of liked it this week, especially that cliche (I know that has an accent but my keyboard won't let it work) shot of him howling against the moon. I LIKE MY FANTASY TROPES, OKAY?

- God, that werewolf-on-werewolf bit as they were both changing was properly intense. Fnnnnng.

- That thing with the chicken was both hilarious and SUCH A GOOD IDEA. Also interesting to know that the wolf can't cross water: I wonder if that'll be important later?

- Good old George, coming to his senses. I love that he has that strength of character under the bumbling outside, and that he visits patients on his day off, and that he can't talk to women to save his life, and that he is the most adorable person on the face of the planet. I love that he had the conversation with Mitchell about how he hasn't helped him: not because I think it was entirely true - in fact, the opposite; I think Mitchell has done wonders for George by showing him that he's not the only one suffering from the supernatural and by moving in with him and by being his friend, constantly, and by being one aspect of his life that isn't subject to change or trauma in that he is who and what he is - but because I think it helped show him just how much he has been helped by Mitchell, otherwise he wouldn't have felt so contrite afterwards. Maybe saying these things is part of why they are such good friends, because things like this do matter and come up between them but it doesn't split them up. God, tl;dr there Moog.

- Less complicatedly: LESS FIGHTING BETWEEN GEORGE AND MITCHELL AND ANNIE, KTHX. I don't care if it makes good drama; it upsets me because I am a wuss and a sap DDD:

- THAT ENTIRE SCENE ON THE STOOP ABOUT CASABLANCA AND GEORGE BEING GEORGE WAS IN FACT PERFECTION IN A SCENE. NNNNNNNGH. I cannot even express my joy for it in words, but sdasbfkbfjsbf, I loved it.

- I am, weirdly, actually interested in the vampires-taking-over-the-world plot, despite not thinking much of it in the pilot and being able to see a couple of flaws in it (see previous thoughts). I think that seeing Herrick being police-y helped: it was good to see this plot moving on rather than just hearing about it, you know? There was Herrick, covering up for Lauren in broad daylight, in full police uniform, being properly menacing: that line about her messing up his plan was actually chilling. I think that seeing these things happening in such an ordinary setting, rather than in a basement or whatever in the pilot or in the dark in the hospital last episode really made a difference in terms of it feeling important, and unnerving.

- I am wondering if the vampires are going to meet any resistance outside of Mitchell not being best pleased with their idea. Like, if George is a werewolf and Annie is a ghost, how many other werewolves and ghosts are there, and how many other types of supernatural beings are there, and will they all allow the vampires to show themselves and risk not only people finding out about the vampirical side to the world but everything else that might be hiding in the shadows as well?

- UNG, vampire sex tape. Like, wrong but disturbingly hot. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME, SEND HELP. Mitchell retrieving it from the bin was just uuuuuuunf. Again, I know a vampire struggling against his nature is a bit old hat, but it doesn't seem it on this show. It's written and acted so well that it seems fresh, if that makes sense? On a bit of a wankerish note, I love the fact that Mitchell going through his own struggle to accept himself within humanity runs parallel to the vampires fighting to be known to humanity. The ex-lit student in me is pleased. (shut up I am rubbish)

- NEXT WEEK. I AM VERY INTERESTED IN SEEING MITCHELL DO THE BLOOD-PLAY SEX WITH LAUREN. YES PLZ.

- I am so glad that this show got made and is in my life, I cannot even say.

1) I agree! I thought, last week, that I might end up screaming every time she appeared on my telly, but this week I enjoyed their interactions a lot. She's such a CUNT, but kind of justified in it as well, because after all he did KILL HER and it's just kgnlwrngrn so very hard to watch. However, if they end up being the show's main couple arc, I will be sad. :(
2) I totally thought, for a second, that this was about me. I was like "oh oh okay? ACTUALLY WAIT." Lol, self, what the hell.

I really enjoyed Annie and Mitchell's kiss - firstly because it was lovely and secondly (mainly) because they didn't go down the retarded route of it being all UST-y, but rather, instead, made it something they all talked about and joked about and it just became moar banter. They are the ultimate OT3. I JUST WANT THEM ALL TO STAY FOREVER AND EVER AMEN. Mitchell should turn George into a vampire; then none of them will ever die and they will always be together. ♥

In other news, NEEDS MORE HERRICK. And I love this show. And Mitchell was in FUCKING CASABLANCA. Unffffff xxxxxxxxx
