DECEMBERRRRRR. IT IS DECEMBER. I LOVE DECEMBER.

I love the cold and the dark and the festive spirit and the advent calendars and the bit where it's my birthday and Christmas shopping and making Christmas presents and generally December just makes me happy. I swear, this month is like concentrated Moog-month. :D

I have a Malteasers advent calendar. What about you?

Meanwhile, my family continues to demonstrate its crap health record. I am still being weak and rubbish, and won't be returning to school until after the Christmas holidays and after having two previous colds and still labouring under ME land, the universe has decided that a stomach bug is the way to go, so hurrah (ahahaha, no). But it isn't bothering me because DECEMBER.

Also having bad times re: health of grandparents, which is worrying and nasty. I attempt to take my mind off this with DECEMBER.

I apologise for being somewhat slack re: commenting, I really really do. I'll comment as much as I can when I'm around! Also, those of you expecting Christmas cards, I'm-a posting them two weeks on Monday. Just so you know.

SERIOUSLY say a thing to me, I have been in this house without leaving it all week being rubbish on the sofa and I think my brain might leaking out of my eyes.

1) BECAUSE YOU ARE AWESOME. I was about to say I don't remember, but that is a lie, because I do, it was over your Mac/Guy pictorial essay spam thing and the conversation we had regarding favourite Green Wing episodes, and it involved me feeling nervous a lot because you WIN a lot.

3) YOU PLAY THE UKULELE. UKE GIRL. UUUUUUUKE.
4) You uploading Life On Mars for me and me basically having a spaz attack in the comments on your journal about its wonderment.

6) I can't think of anything I haven't already gone OH HAI I WANNA KNOW A THING whilst taking advantage of your hospitality and loveliness. Er er er. We'll try a more general question: WHAT IS A THING that you want for Christmas (not, like, define the meaning of 'a thing', because that would be a weird thing to ask you). Also I now want to know what kind of sweets you get, and do you just have the one for both you and your brother with two sweets, or do you have two snowmen calendars or do you take it turns to have a sweet? LOL THANKS MOOG <3333 The recordings have made us ridiculously excited omg, in case December wasn't enough, because I posted them on a uke forum and everyone's all "omg win for you, you're all young, well done!" and we're all NNNGH THANKS. lol I think I conveyed that quite well.

5) AND I WILL NEVER REGRET IT. REMEMBER THAT TIME I HAD TO READ YOUR FIC IN JAPAN THREE TIMES. :DDDD
6) Do you know, I fail so hard at a Christmas list this year. My family keeps asking me what I want, and I'm all "augh I really don't know", ahaha oh dear. I've run out of small stringed instruments to desire! At the moment, I have come up with three DVDs: Flight Of The Conchords, The History Boys, and Charles II: The Power And The Passion (...what? I remember watching it when I was like thirteen, but I didn't really pay attention, but now I'm doing that period in History, and so it would be kind of interesting, and also RUFUS SEWELL and MARTIN FREEMAN).

ALSO I THINK I AM GETTING THAT DOCTOR WHO TARDIS CAKE WITH BONUS TENNANT PICTURE for my birthday cake. I am quite excited about being able to EAT TENNANT'S FACE (I think you may have picked up on that during the umpteenth enforced rewatching of the Morrissey-Blackpool-Tennant dancing).

Also, I totally failed to answer the bit about the advent calendar, I just realised, lol lose for me. We just have the one calendar with two sweets in the little pocket each day, one for each of us. Today it was a big orange Quality Street! OH THE JOY.
