I was just looking at 'Hand of God' screencaps and I came to that startling conclusion. As in, she hurts me with how stunningly gorgeous she is.

I'm having one of those moments.

I know how those moments feel too. Just sitting there, gawping and just thinking "Omg, too much beauty to comprehend. Unbelievable." I just cannot believe I went so long without knowing who this goddess was, not to mention all those times I declined to borrow BSG S1 from my friend. Silly Nomi. I am, very, much making up for lost time though.

Mary's beauty is one of those things that just kind of sneaked up on me. Beautiful just isn't the word for her. She's gorgeous; so effortlessly and so knowing.

For me, Mary's beauty was kind of blasted into my face by a couple of people but I kind of half-heartedly agreed. And then I watched BSG. And then I swooned a lot and proposed to my tv screen.

I think the effortlessness (that is completely a word) and knowingness of it is part of why she's so bowl-you-over gorgeous. Go Mary!

OH I KNOW - I have carried a brightly lit MM torch ever since Dances with Wolves, oh way way back in the day. Hawt woman that she was (despite the serious lack of girl-love in that movie. Damn you Kevin 'I'm a terrible actor and love to show my butt on screen' Costner!!

Anyway, right there with ya, sistah.
