Sloooooowly going mental about impending exams, and so this is a post which is about NOTHING apart from that you should all read Havemercy, because I don't feel I've said that enough yet.

'"Just a spin," I said.
"Good," said Have. "I'm getting rusty."
"Shit," I said, "you ain't."
"Aren't," Havemercy said. "You common little fucker."

There was a time when the powers that be were concerned I was going to be a bad influence on Havemercy, the pride of the entire dragon-fleet, but she wasn't some prissy little politician's wife, just power and musculature and sleeking grace, and she didn't fuck around with being proper even from the start. I taught her all the good curses and she'd melt any man tried to separate us, leastways until I could get my knife in between his ribs and stick him like a pig.

IT IS SO GOOD.

AMAZON IS YOUR FRIEND.

kjbkjasgdhjdgs DEVIL IN AMBERRR. God. God. GOD. I am totes coming to spaz out on your Vesuvius Club post tonight - have been meaning to do this, oh dear - but I am much more easily excited by The Devil in Amber, mainly because a) I liked it more, b) I haven't lost it and c) I have read it more recently. Although nothing diminishes my love for Charlie Jackpottttt.

ONE DAY, MOOG. ONE DAY SOON. I cannae resist a gay magician for more than a week, surely. I will use Signor Box and some delightfully slashy dragon handlers (♥ Naomi Novik!) to distract myself in the meantime.

Epic Reply, hah. Confession time - in order to figure out how many characters my replies are so that I can break them up, I have a Word document that I copy and paste to called Embarrassingly Long Comment of Doom. It is 14 pages long, single spaced.

WE ARE CRAZYYYYY. I LOVE IT. Honestly, I need to be thanking you, this is ridiculous. Nobody ever indulges my nerdy side.

That's not the same Merlin AU, but I've bookmarked now. AUGH SO MUCH FANFICTION TO READ. The one I'm talking about is here (http://archiveofourown.org/en/works/3189?view_adult=true). It's pretty damn amazing. (And quite explicit, just fair warning. I don't want you to think I'm some sort of perv or anything.)

YOU READ SO FAST, I'm only on Remus' attempt at helping James woo Lily. But to be fair I have been trying to do homework around Havemercy flail and Merlin fic, and the fact that Royston and Hal will NOT LEAVE MY HEAD.

Epic Replyyyyy still on its wayyyy. See, now, your system sounds logical - I just try and post it until LJ stops telling me it's too long. And repeat, for, like 5 comments. Although, to keep from losing parts of it, I save it to a gmail draft. GMAIL MOCKS ME.

I love indulging my nerdy side, possibly because it is also my only side. Er.

I've read the first chapter of that AU, like, ten times on separate recommendations and then never got any further? I shall attempt to give it another go. And don't worry about warning for explicit-ness. I, er, don't mind? LET'S PRETEND I SAID THAT IN A NON-TERRIFYING WAY.

I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A SHELLEY OR A KEATS IS. FRENCH COURSEWORK CAN NO LONGER STAND IN THE WAY OF MY SHOEBOX/HAVEMERCY INSANITY! Now, only revision can stop me !- oh dear.
