YAYYYY ♥ Thank you!

(Er, because I am rubbish, remind me which day that Royal Holloway Open Day thingum is? Are you still going? Do you want to go get coffee or something and talk about nonsense in a break from, um, knowing stuff? QUESTIONS.)

I hope A-Levels don't just laugh in my face. I feel they might. Have you done some Livy unseens? WHY DOES HE WRITE ABOUT SUCH RUBBISH? OH HAI, I DON'T CARE ABOUT THESE DRUNKEN FLUTE-PLAYERS, NOR ABOUT THESE SOLDIER WITH SUCH AN ATTACHMENT TO A DONKEY THAT THEY PROVOKE 800 THRACIANS TO COME WAR IN THEIR FACES. Still, better than Caesar, I guess. Is your set text an Ovid this year?

I am going to the Royal Holloway Open and it is Wednesday Feb 11th (my first attempt to spell 'Wednesday' failed in a spectacularly embarrassing manner, I must admit this). :) We must totally meet up at some point - and I'm sure we'll see each other in the talks and stuff too, right? And are you bringing a parent-like entity?

I HAVE DONE BOTH THOSE LIVY UNSEENS. He's so boring and rubbish. :( Ovid's our verse unseen author this year, obviously I will never get away from him. :P

We're doing Ovid too. This week's unseen was the one about Calypso and Odysseus (WHOSE NAME IS JUST NOT ULYSSES, OKAY) and his spastic map in the sand. Oh yeah, Ovid. Groovy.

I am indeed: I am bringing my mother. What about you?

(ps: I always have to say wed-nez-day when I write it, just so I spell it right :DD)

Yeah, who exactly decided that Ulysses/Ulixes would translate into Odysseus? I mean...what?

I am also bringing my mother! :)

(ps: Me too! I think I got it wrong because I didn't do it that one time. XD)

Technically we should blame the Romans for changing Odysseus' name into SOMETHING EVEN MORE STUPID in their language.

(...I should probably sort out train tickets for the open day some time soon :O)
