That scene by the tree? It made me physically ache. You don't normally get that scene. You don't normally get the massive breakdown. You get English reserve, or, like, crying with some self-awareness; you don't get real, child-like upset.

I really do love Tennant when he isn't playing the Doctor. I loved his performance here. That line after he found out that his friend had died (UNEXPECTED RESERVED BRITISH GAY OH MY GOD), that 'Yes, he was, yes', or whatever the actual words were, it was just .... nnngh, I don't even know quite how to express what I want to say, it was just empty, you know, like he'd just shut down. What I'm trying to say is, he made me believe in the moment, and that's really all I can ask of an actor.

Hmmm...that is an interesting interpretation. I did not even think of it like that. At first I thought she may be shouting at the Cylons, then I thought maybe it was Zarek and his creepy crew of death (who are clearly up to no good, pesky kids.)
