I WOULD LIKE SOME EYESIGHT NOW PLEASE.

How long does it take for contact lenses to be made? (My seeing-eye hat is still in use, just so you know, but I can't wear it for long because the ooooooze still hasn't healed and I need to keep the glasses Away From There at all costs. Including my sanity. The costs are high, I must admit).

Anyway, complete and utter frustration aside.

I have to thank 

missfoxieand _la_mysterieusefor the lovely shiny things they sent me: the songs are wonderment in a hand-basket, and I'm halfway through the Spooks episodes (yaye Juliet! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for Juliet!angst or other emotion - shhh, what, I'm weird) and in general, so much joy. Er, if I can do anything in return for either of you, please to be letting me know.

I went shopping today with my mother (and no sight, which was quite a difficult experience) and I have somehow returned £59 poorer. Er, I'm not quite sure how. It might have something to do with the following items:

- Rome S1 boxset
- Casino Royale (shut up, Daniel Craig is attractive, and you know, so is Eva Green, and there's angst and hot and explosions and BOND HOT BOND HELLO)
- 2 pretty new necklaces from Dorothy Perkins 
- 1 pretty new pair of earrings from Dorothy Perkins
- a Paperchase pencil
- 2 Paperchase pens
- 3 Paperchase pens in pretty colours (yes, I am a whore for over-priced-yet-lovely-stationary)

I am poor now, and tired because MY EYES DO NOT COPE WELL WITHOUT SIGHT, but I have shinies and, er, yes.

This summer's gonna be very strange and surreal, what with all my going places and GOING PLACES IN THE MIDDLE OF GOING PLACES!!!
