A few things:

1) It was far too hot today, and it's only April. God help me for the rest of the summer.

2) Does anyone else have problems with those things that are supposed to recognise you when you wave your hand in front of them, and then the toilet flushes or the tap comes on or  the shower comes on, you know, one of those things? The showers in the swimming pool here refuse to believe I exist. I end up standing before them shouting 'I AM A LIFE FORM, RECOGNISE MY EXISTENCE SO I CAN WASH MY HAIR, DAMN YOU'.

3) The following exchange just took place:

ME: Which episode of Life On Mars should I watch tonight?
MOTHER: What about the last one?
ME: ARE YOU INSANE, DO YOU WANT ME TO LOOK LIKE I'VE BEEN SHOT WHEN I GO BACK TO SCHOOL TOMORROW?
MOTHER: ....
ME: I mean, I think I've seen that one too recently.

Now I go to watch 2x07, with an easter egg. Yums.

1) Yes, wtf! I was baking, and I couldn't wear my cardie.
2) And I say again, only slightly louder: YES. You are not alone, they hate me too.
3) I watched the last episode today for the second time. It still burned, so I reckon you made the right choice, there. And who wouldn't want to see Gene dressed as a squirrel? ;)

This comment was pointless so er, sorry.

1) Really?! I was baking last week in the midst of crazy heat and spending four hours in a kitchen with a really hot oven and lots of mad stirring is not an experience I would care to repeat. What did you bake?
2) Haha, quote for the yaye. I feel happy that I am not, you know, the sole victim of technological persecution.
3) Yaye for squirrel!Gene and not yaye for the incredible amount of crying the last episode brings on.

The comment was not pointless! It was cheering and good.

I really, really want an Easter egg. I'd thought I could buy some cheap ones when I got back, but apparently there was some insane thing where all the eggs sold out before Easter had even happened? OH CHOCOLATE WHY DO YOU ABANDON ME.

1) I got quite excited, and now I can't wait for the summer. I'll regret it in a few months when I can't move from the heat, though.
2) Actually, I tend to be so continually amazed by them that I haven't got around to being annoyed with them yet. Er, I am easily impressed?
3) Oh, god, I haven't rewatched it yet, and I really want to, but I'm sort of scared in case I actually collapse, or something. I've actually never seen S2E8 of Green Wing since it originally aired, because I was too emotionally scarred to ever see it again.

Um, I think Woolworths may still be selling Easter eggs. Or, if not the proper sized goodness, I'm pretty sure they're still selling little eggs, you know, like the things that aren't Creme Eggs but are about the same size with different fillings, and oh God, I should never try to explain anything to anyone.

1) I hate being too hot, thus I don't leave the house a lot in the summer and if I do, I spend a lot of time diving for the neares patch of shade and complaining quite a lot whilst wearing large hats. I am somewhat of a spectacle, I admit.
2) Not easily impressed at all. I would be impressed by them too, if they ever worked for me.
3) I've not watched that GW episode again since I saw it on the dvds (the first time I saw it) because of the sheer pain and oh God, no thank you. I don't think I could cope yet.

I know what you mean about wanting to watch the last LOM again, but I don't think I can yet. I might collapse, like you say. I do keep having to stop people talking about it, in case I turn into mush. Yes, I am a bit rubbish.

1. Gods, yes. It's far too hot here as well. Yesterday was worse, though, because my parents were down and I have to wear a cardigan or something of the sort when they're around. Could get away with not wearing one today, though, thankfully. ::dies::

2. They don't like me either. Or I don't like them. Or possibly both.

3. I was planning to watch 2.08 again yesterday or today, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it. Oh, the pain! The agony! &c. So I watched series 2 of Green Wing instead. Bastard 2.08/special episode of that didn't exactly cheer me up either. ::grumbles::

I want an easter egg. I had some before, but no more, because I am a glutton and so forth.

1) Oh God, I could not have worn a cardigan yesterday. I was suffering in a sleeveless dress.

2) We should think up some kind of genius plan to beat the showers. Like writing 'I AM REAL' on our hands before we start waving at the panel thing.

3) Noooes, I cannot watch 2x08 of GW. It upsets me too much. And the special makes me cry as well. So much good television is off-set by its ability to make me sob like a child, and thus I may not have seen it that many times.

I want to eat more of my Easter eggs (no, really, I am also a glutton - I just ate things that weren't my Easter eggs) but it's Monday now and I don't eat chocolate during the week. *wails*

The showers in the swimming pool here refuse to believe I exist.

AHAHA! I think the whole the-showers-don't-think-I-exist is the funniest thing I've heard in a while. XD

I DO EXIST REALLY I PROMISE.

THE SHOWERS REFUSE TO VALIDATE MY EXISTENCE.

I DO EXIST REALLY I PROMISE.

Hmmm, well, are you sure about that? Those showers seem pretty adamant...

MAYBE I'M IN A COMA AND YOU'RE A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION. XD

BAH! I juuust got Life On Mars on DVD after seeing not even one SECOND of it on tv! I spent my sunday watching allll of it.

Gene is indeed awesome, and I heart him. I love Sam as well, though my love for him mainly expresses itself through extreme worry for him, so I will often be found screaming 'SAM SAM SAM OH MY GOD SAM DON'T DO THAT WHAT ARE YOU DOING PLEASE STOP BEING CRAZY SAAAAAM' at the television.

I also like Sam/Gene an inordinate amount. *snuggles them*

The dvd purchase was a wise one, I feel!
