moogingI've not been updating a lot recently, so I'm sorry for that.
Reasons: I've had exams and now a crap load of coursework.
Also, right now, I feel quite bad too. Which is not the greatest of things. Have spent the day in somewhat of a stupor on the sofa watching my newly acquired boxset of season 3 of Nip/Tuck. *pets it*
In other news, I got an A in English in my mock exams, when I and most other people expected me to get and A*. Weirdly, I don't feel disappointed or anything. I say 'weirdly' because English has been the subject for me for practically my entire life and suddenly it doesn't bother me that I wasn't A* standard. I mean, of course it will bother me if I don't get an A* in my real exam next year, but for now? Not so much. Although I guess the fact that I'm analysing why I'm not thinking about it means that it does bother me somewhere. Hmmm.
In other exam result news, this is how things are looking so far:
Classics: 88% - A*
Latin: 96% - A* (the only one in the year, I should add *proud*)
Maths: 71.5 % overall (two papers) - A (An A in Maths!!)
History: 62/75 - A*
English: A
I'm still waiting for Science, French and Religious results. Considering I made up everything I wrote in Religious - can never remember anything in that subject and particularly not when it's about Christian attitudes to Marriage, and how's this for a question: "What does the Christian marriage service contribute to married life?". Um, BEING MARRIED?! - and then everything in Science I guessed at and I'm only so-so about my French ability - yeah, I won't be holding my breath.
I seem to be more concerned about other subjects rather than English. This? Is very, very odd.
Also, my throat has turned into sandpaper, my body temperature will not remain constant, my head is pounding, it hurts to swallow, my ears ache and my legs/feet/ankles are being shite and swollen and painful again. Anyone have a clue what is wrong with me?!
I don't remember if I mentioned what I got in my French oral of panic, so here it is: 39/40. A*. Hee!
And the Physics coursework of doooooom (not to be confused with the Chemistry coursework of dooooom)? 27/30. *shriek*
Ok, so this entry could seem egotistical and braggish, but it isn't supposed to come across like that. I just wanted to write it all down somewhere.
If you'll excuse me, I'll be going back to wallow in pain now.
