Oh, the guy making the TKS speech is tearing up. This is so lovely, okay, this speech is sweet. Thanking the UK Film Council (YES I AGREE). Oh god this speech is so long. MAKE ONE PERSON BE THE SPOKESPERSON. Okay but one guy said this was a childhood ambition, so, you know, that's lovely.

THAT ONE GUY JUST SAID "ON BEHALF OF THE WHOLE TEAM, THANKS". THAT IS WHAT I AM SAYING.

Right, that last award. The Fellowship. Presented by Tim Burton (I LOVE TIM BURTON). Apparently Christopher Lee (spoiler!) has the most screen credits of all the people? I may have misheard that. Oh god, my throat is so sore. I have had a comedy croaky voice all week and I've been shouting over noise in the box office at work tonight and now I am super quiet and also I think my fingers are giving up the ghost. CHRISTOPHER LEE IS 88???

I do love seeing him in films though. There seems to be a disproportionate amount of LOTR in his montage.

This happened to me with Jonathan Pryce at the BAFTAs a couple of years ago. NO-ONE IS ALLOWED TO DIE EVER. Anyway. I love his voice. Who doesn't love his voice? Oh, he's getting choked up. Can't cope with this. KEEP BEING AWESOME, CHRISTOPHER LEE, WE ALL LOVE YOU. He's proud to accept the award from "one of the greatest directors of our age". Glad not to be receiving this award posthumously like Stanley Kubrick. Oh god this whole thing is massively upsetting. Huge round of applause. Everyone is weeping.

WHY DO THEY DO THAT AWARD LAST IT IS SO UPSETTING.

DOES THIS MEAN I GET TO GO EAT SOMETHING NOWWW? lolol Jonathan Ross is like "next year the BAFTAs will be incepted into your brain".

AHA! AHAHA! I CAN GO EAT SOMETHING NOW! Also because I was at work so much longer than I thought I would be, I haven't seen any of the red carpet stuff yet so I can watch that while I have my dinner.

Okay, so, all in all I am pleased apart from TKS for Best Film - and it's not even that I didn't like it, I did like it a lot, it's just - it had great performances; it wasn't great itself.

NOT ENDING ON A NEGATIVE. HOORAY FOR BAFTAS. I AM GOING TO SCOUR THE INTERNETS FOR PICTURES AND DISCUSSION. TO TUMBLR!

And people getting choked up made me sad too. AS DID I AM LOVE NOT WINNING. But lol we were joking about how it looked like everyone on stage for TKS was queuing up for their own turn to make a speech. SO MANY PEOPLE. SO MUCH TALKING.

No, sorry, TKS did win Best Film, I just meant that, for me personally, it wasn't the best film of the year. IT JUST WASN'T. I still have rage about that. Although I do think it deserved the other awards, especially the ones for the actors, just - I feel like, for Best Actor, there were so many amazing performances this year that to have that performance from Colin be this year as well seemed almost unfair, because he's a shoo-in for all the awards ever.
