And we're back! That was a very nice speech Inception FX guy - oh wait there's more than one. JUST LET ONE GUY BE YOUR SPOKESPERSON, I HAVE FINGER SKIN TO SAVE. Oh no hang on only the two of them. Well that's okay then.

First look at the Best Film nominees. First up: True Grit. This is the only one of the nominees for Best Film that I've not seen but I REALLY WANT TO SEE IT, HNNNG HNNG HNNNG. Looks greeeeat. Hailee Steinfeld (can't spell surnames ever) seems SO LOVELY, HOW IS SHE ONLY FOURTEEN? MY LIFE IS A WASTE.

Hmm, these clips might be a good time to hit post from now on.

Supporting Actress presented by JAMES MCAVOY. I like him more as himself than when he acts. Presents the autocue well.

Supporting Actress:

- Lesley Manville - Another Year (NO, PLEASE NO, THIS FUCKING FILM WAS THE BANE OF MY LIFE WHEN IT WAS ON and I'm not a fan of Lesley Manville anyway)
- Barbara Hershey - Black Swan (terrifying!)
- Miranda Richardon - Made in Dagenham (I LOVE HER but I was surprised she got nominated for this?)
- Helena Bonham Carter - The King's Speech (she was great)
- Amy Adams - The Fighter (irritating at all times but I've not seen this yet, so.)

Aaaaaaand the winner is..... (pleasing gaff from James McAvoy) HELENA BONHAM CARTER OH LOOK AT HER HUGGING HER RODENTY HUSBAND AND ALSO COLIN FIRTH. AND HOLY SHIT MIRANDA LOOKS SO GOOD TONIGHT UGH I STILL LOVE HER. Lolol "so used to losing it feels strange to win. Children, if you're watching, it's not all about the winning. My underskirt has got hitched up and this is not a good moment. I think I should thank the royal family because they've done wonders for my career. This year I seem to be playing queens with decreasing head sizes." Says she feels incredibly lucky to have won and also to be working in this profession. Oh god how is she even this amazing? Says she would love to walk up and say she did this all by herself like her three year old. LOVELY LOVELY ALSO SHE LOOKS LOVELY. LOLOL "GEOFFREY YOU SHOULD BE THE BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS." Miranda Richardson looking less than pleased in the audience. HBC "I might never get this again so I might as well make the most of it." "I want to dedicate this to all the best supporting wives in the world, like my mum." UGH SO LOVELY.

Huuuge round of applause, and everyone loves her.

Next presenter is Kevin Spacey. TERRIFYING ALWAYS. oh god what am I typing. ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE FROM HERE ON IN.

Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer:

- Gareth Edwards - Monsters (completed all the special effects ON HIS OWN COMPUTER)
- Banksy - Jaimie D'Cruz
- Clio Barnard (MISSED THE THING, I AM TERRIBLE)
- Nick Whitfield - Skeletons
- Chris Morris - Four Lions

Aaaaand the winner is .... Chris Morris for Four Lions. Okay so I didn't rate that at all but the rest of the world apparently did. Chris Morris can't be there tonight so here are two of the film's stars to collect. POST.

HBC'S SPEECH WAS AMAZING, I SORT OF FELL IN LOVE WITH HER. The underskirt thing! Queens with decreasing head sizes! Saying Geoffrey should have won the award! SHE'S ADORABLE.

ALSO AGREED ABOUT JAMES MCAVOY. ♥
