LOOK okay I have no excuse for what I have been doing for the last seven days other than to say that the Inception fandom is apparently both ridiculously prolific and unfairly talented. For example, have you read that amazing one where Eames subconsciously starts Arthur-proofing his apartment or maybe the inevitable have-sex-or-die fic where the whole team fights over who gets to fuck Arthur or this one where Arthur suddenly realises the extent of Eames' frankly ridiculous intellect and it's really hot or perhaps tu es la belle et moi la bête (where Eames gets stuck with the mind of an actual dog)? No?

And if you've not read Kobayashi Maru by hackthis, do so at once, and that goes DOUBLE for i am the hero of this story (don't need to be saved (aka: the one where Mal wakes up) by electrumqueen. Seriously.

There's even a FREAKING AMAZING BOARDING SCHOOL AU.

AND I HAVEN'T EVEN MENTIONED A COUPLE OF MY FAVOURITES. I am in the process of making a proper rec post for Inception fic but it will be HUGE and SPRAWLING, including the ones here and other ones that have made me weep and clutch the laptop to my chest with both a+ ficitude and raging jealousy that I will never write anything as frankly brilliant, and, and, THIS FANDOM: WHAT HAS IT DONE TO ME?

Are you familiar with mithrigil? I'm not in Inception fandom, but her Hetalia work is incredible, and I'd recommend anything of hers unhesitatingly - I think she's been writing Incepetion stuff lately.

IDK whether you have had this too, but since I finished the Holmes big bang I have a) been massively unable to read any other Holmes fic and b) been massively unable to write anything worth half a damn. Did you get that after your big bang? (WHICH, by the way, I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO READING, DO NOT THINK I HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT. I AM V EXCITED.)

I couldn't read SPN gen fic for days and days. I had a few good recs, too, I just couldn't read them after posting mine, haha. I had less trouble with Dean/Cas, however. Or Jared/Jensen.

SOME THINGS:

1. INCEPTION! OMFG I really loved that film. And Arthur/Eames! I was definitely shipping them throughout. (I read the first two fics you recced just now, especially loved the second!). More will probably come from me on this subject eventually.

2. I have been neglecting LJ for far too long, this is bad.

3. I have also been neglecting TV for far too long!! I still haven't seen the second series of Being Human, the second half of the second series of Merlin, or the last two episodes of Sherlock. Woe is me, this must also be rectified. :(

I have been HIDING from this fandom, because I keep hearing tell of its inherent awesomeness and I know that I will FAIL Latin AND NEVER FINISH MY OWN STUPID INCEPTION FIC if I start reading other people's stories. XD

... But some of those links you posted sound really, really interesting ... aw hell, if I stay up all night reading Inception fic, I'm blaming you. XD
