mooging Memes to see in the weekend, because I say so.
1) Comment and I'll pick seven of your icons, and then you will explain why you love/are using the icon (who doesn't love talking about their icons, seriously) and then post your explanation/this meme in your journal for other people to squee about their icons, and basically it will be a huge squeefest of love and 100x100 square pixels
1) Who: Ten - OMG: okay, well, I created this one for the sole purpose of having an OMG icon, because I felt I needed one; I have since spent all my time using it wishing I had a different one, that didn't have Tennant on, as much as I am amused by his comedy earth-is-moving-or-am-I-having-an-orgasm face, because it always seems a bit too twee to me even though I made it, what, idk.
2) Misc: Mary/Katee Holding Hands: well, this came about because on Battlestar Galactica, I totally girlship those two women as their characters (SO MUCH), even though they barely have any scenes together, and then Mary McDOnnell and Katee Sackhoff turned up to some event HOLDING HANDS for that photo, and I spaffed around a lot and made an icon.
3) Text: TG Quote: washing machine: aha, this is actually not the exact quote, but it's from the Bugatti v. plane race, and Jeremy's little anxious desperation Not to Be Beaten by James in a Plane made me all kinds of happy, and I needed a TG icon, and LOOK IT HAS WORDS :D (this is possibly not the best reason for liking an icon in the world, but shhh your face)

5) Keywords: Holmes: hats off to the best: hee, I always end up using this one when I want to give a compliment but it never comes across that way (I associate it with praise because of the keywords that I gave it and somehow expect everyone else to know that, oh dear, fail for me) and LOOK THEY ARE WEARING HATS ILTHEM. Also I love the background-y texture-y thing, all smoky and red and stuff (I fail at...er, knowing words?) so, er, yes. ♥

7) Keywords: Brideshead: bring me a parasol in the po: er, okay, to start, that is meant to say 'in the pouring rain', but obviously lj hates me, so it doesn't. I just remember watching that scene and going UNFG and possibly crying a little bit, and nnnngh, ilthem a lot and Sebastian in the edge of the sea in the rain and the way Charles just automatically goes over and they huddle into each other and it's just right, nnnnnnnngh UNFG LOVE. I haven't actually used this one yet, I just shoved it there in my rush of love for them and immediate desire to gorge myself on icons of them.

....I had forgotten about the Cat Hat. I don't seem to be able to resist a silly hat. Many idiotic Facebook photos are testament to this. Also, I thought my laugh was just a deranged cackle and/or wheezy noises. Bless you for thinking it adorable. ;D

Sebastian:
- He really was in love with Charles, but could never be sure that if he did anything about it, Charles wouldn't see it as another way in which he was rebelling against his family.
- He started drinking because he liked the idea of forgetting; he ended up drinking because he only forgot when he stopped.
- When he was waiting in Charles' home, before Charles came back from Brideshead, he spent an hour sitting on the edge of Charles' childhood bed with his eyes closed, pretending they'd met earlier and had played there together as children, when nothing would have mattered except toy soldiers and stuffed bears.
