Ahh, new year. I only have one resolution, and it is this: GET A JOB. I need money and I need it fairly soon, because hi, having savings would be nice.

Not that this means I'm not planning a big 'spend lots of Christmas money ahahahahahaha' fangasm. Because I am. Because you can't stop me! *evil laugh*

Anyway. 

- Season Tennant of Doctor Who was such a crushing disappointment.

- Having said that, Doomsday was such a fitting end to the characters and their journey and I wept and wept and wept.

- I fell in love with Jack Bristow, Irina Derevko, Nina Myers, CJ Cregg, Captain Jack Harkness (again, having loved him the year before) and Laura Roslin. And oh, how I loved them. And continue to love them.

- Actresses? Anna Chancellor. Isabelle Huppert. Keeley Hawes. Mary McDonnell. 

- My heart was broken into pieces by Gideon's Daughter, early February.

- I met cecile_volanges and missfoxie and it was good. *squishes them*

- Someone sent me my first Tori Amos song

- I wrote fan fic that I actually liked

- I wrote girl sex!

- I wrote straight sex!

- I wrote PWP!

- I was brave enough to post more fan fiction this year, and people were nice about it

- I conquered Photoshop enough to create icons that I don't look at and wince

- And in my real life, I did fairly well in my end-of-year exams, I started my GSCE year, I finished most coursework for most lessons (only one more piece to go and then FREEDOM!!) and got marks that didn't make me cry, I weathered a mini-collapse in the earlier months, I got the crappy illness thing pretty much diagnosed - this after five years of pain without explanation - and got treatment, however ineffective, for it.

- I also managed to do two French oral exams (which, okay, I typed as 'sexam' the first time) without dying

- I kept some wonderful friends and made some (*cough* missfoxie *cough*)

- I had a good, fairly steady, year. Here's to another one, and a brilliant one for all of you reading this! *cookies for all*

Also, I think I shall be making another post straight after this one with piccytures in so a) I apologise for the spam and b) I do not know anyone's feelings on my f-list towards the person. I will want to know!

Oh, and should I do the femslash100  Around the Clock challenge, and if so, what should I claim? Any ideas?

I am wracking my brains trying to figure out what the format of this post reminds me of. Honestly, it's eluding me. :P

You wrote A/R (with a tiny hint of sexing too) and I am so proud of you for surviving it! And for doing it so well that A/R fans luffed your piece. Also I'm proud of you for posting your work on LJ and even to bsg_femslash and femslash100 (after mucho prodding from a certain bespectacled brunette who is fond of your work and believed others would be too).

Do the 'Around The Clock' challenge! It'll be fun, delicious, easy and there's no pressure to signing up for it at all. Apparently I have already claimed Laura Roslin (just her) for it. I do not remember signing up at all. Ah well, I'm gonna do it.
