moogingWell, it's now beyond late and I am beyond tired and onto that staying awake but feeling kind of internet dazed state and yet I am still here and now I'm typing nonsense because I just remembered the whole point of me making one of these things was to go and read Meredithy's Brynette story so I did that but then this page looked all empty and I felt sorry for it...
And also I may be talking crap because I'm tired. I'll be woken up in the morning by one of two things: 1) my mother, who thinks it is fun to start a very loud DIY project right outside my bedroom door, when it is clearly the holidays and I clearly want to sleep, which makes that activity clearly cruel and unusual punishment, or 2) my hyper little 4 year old sister who thinks that squealing outside my bedroom door at the drill being used by my DIYing mother is a nice way to wake me up.
I also should really stop obsessing over Harry Potter now. Seriously, I haven't done this before in 3 films and 6 books, but Half Blood Prince dragged me in (something to do with (Maybe SPOILER here) crying!Draco and MaybeEVIL!Snape I think) and now I'm struggling to remove myself from the HP world...it's quite nice there really, you've got great things in that fandom. Like Harry/Draco, which has to be my favourite pairing, and you've got Snape and Sirius and Lupin, and you've got Dumbledore (had Dumbledore) who is such a fabulous character, and then you have the films where just about everyone can act (I said just about! The POA crying scene was just wrong) and pretty much everyone is stunning (*coughJasonIsaacscough*) and dear God save me, I've ranted.
I can't work out any of the finer details of this place (Live Journal) at all, like how to get the little purple links to other stuff they've written that other people have, or how to get a little picture up or anything, so if anyone feels like helping (MEREDITHY!!) then please do!

Date: 2005-08-09 03:24 am (UTC)To get userpictures: Go to manage, user pics, and it's best to just add from your computer, like Photobucket.
To get the little purple links: When you update your journal, scroll down and click the thing that says "rich text mode." Once there, you click the little button that looks like this---> (...) and then you type a sentence summarizing what you're about to write. After you do that, everything that's written under the tag will be in that link.
And really, HOW can you obsess over HP? I've reread the 6th book and actually started hating it... eh, that's okay. Jason Isaacs is v. yummy, though. ;-)
