TECHNICALLY it is my big bang posting date, but it is only just not yesterday, and so here is ONE LAST REC before I go to bed. In the morning: BIG BANGGG.

Day Three:

These Things Were Promises

Watson doesn't know what he wants from Holmes. Holmes won't tell him.
This fic is what saved me from floundering over speech-patterns endlessly as the word count on the fic stayed stubbornly low. Holmes and Watson are so very Holmes and Watson, and there are several pieces of work done shoddily and more than a few hours sleep missed because another chapter of this (it's now finished) was posted. I HEART THIS FIC, okay. There's a brutal cliffhanger in one of the later chapters as well, okay, so consider that forewarning that I didn't have, and nor did I have the next chapter to read straight after, and when I sent this link to my friend to read, I genuinely got a phone call when she got up to that part that went a little something like this:

ME: Hel-
FRIEND: ZOMGWTFAKJSDHSGFHJSGFHJAWaaaaaaaaaaaaaaugh
ME: -lo.

What I am saying is: read this fic.

I didn't see this post because I was in Croatia but... you are so, so lovely sweetie, thank you so much.

(I'm just about to start reading your Big Bang, btw, and I AM SO EXCITED!)

All my words are true words, including that conversation extract. ALSO I don't remember if I ever did sit down and leave a proper comment on your fic (and if I didn't, I always meant to) and it spacked me out so completely that I legitimately risked life and limb by reading the whole thing through again when it got to That One Cliffhanger instead of preparing Greek for the next day, and my Greek is not good enough not to prepare for a readthrough in class. I STILL DON'T CARE THOUGH, BECAUSE I LOVE YOUR FIC. praise praise praise.

I hope you enjoy the big bang! I wrote most of it in unhealthy hours of the day, and the other bits driven by an increasingly close deadline, and basically went mental but... enjoyed.... it? Something is wrong with me: I blame Holmes and Watson.
