That is mainly because just now, practising the conversation questions with my mother, I said that the swimming pool was for swimming and my father cooked the dinner in the kitchen. QUITE OBVIOUSLY HE COOKED IN THE KITCHEN YOU FOOL, HE'S HARDLY LIKELY TO COOK IT IN THE SHOWER.

DESIST FLAILING. You will be OKAY. I swear, as long as what you say makes even a tiny bit of sense (even if it does seem stupidly obvious) and is grammatically correct, it will be fine.

If it's any consolation, my entire knowledge of French comes from half-remembered lessons I think I had when I was about seven, and whatever Guy ever said in French in Green Wing. I don't even know how to say kitchen, so, er... you can speak French better than someone who can't speak French? No, wait, this isn't going anywhere.

I had a sort of panic attack and forgot to breathe during my A level French oral and I still passed. I will think of you and I'm sure you'll do brilliantly.

All I know about french I learned from 8 Femmes ... so that's basically nothing, except the French talk with their legs right? That was all I was able to gleam: legs.
